Raw Ruby

Ruby is a variety of the Corundum mineral family, of which Sapphires are also a member

Its name,Ruby, is the Latin word for red, the distinctive red colour of this precious gemstone is thought to be caused by Chromium elements in the crystal matrix, alongside iron and titanium

Rubies can be found in various localities across the globe, including India, Myanmar, and Namibia in Africa

Ruby is believed to promote loving, nurturing, health, knowledge and wealth. It has been associated with improved energy and concentration, creativity, loyalty, honor and compassion. Ruby is thought to be protective of home, possessions and family.

Due to its deep red colour, it is deeply symbolic of blood and life force, and is said to bring energy, strength, power, and vitality
